For our sophomore volume, Lips, we present our exploration of identity, inner dialogue, and self-care through the evolving lens of femininity. We use the literal theme of ‘lips’ as both conductors of uncensored speech and expression, as well the visual motif to represent femininity in all its evolving forms. We drew from the cultural influence of ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ energy of the 80’s, the classic ‘girly girl’ aesthetics of the 90’s and early 2000s, and the shifting landscape of it all in the 2020’s. Read our lips: you’re gonna wanna read this volume.
